Relax and enjoy a cruise in the Athos gulf, stunned by the astonishing view over the byzantine monasteries of Mount Athos. Since the 10th century a.D., Athos has been a monastic state dedicated to the Virgin Mary; since that time, only monks can live here, access is prohibited to the women, while men need a special permission to enter, so the cruise is the best way to catch a glimpse of that forbidden world of medieval spirituality and impressive architecture, among one of the most impressive landscapes of Greece!
Along our way, we pass by ancient Stagira, birthplace of the ancient philosopher Aristoteles, while at the end of the cruise you can enjoy picturesque Ouranoupolis and a fish lunch in one of the local taverns (not included). Return to Thessaloniki in the afternoon.
