What to Expect
Thessaloniki (Salonica) presents a various and interesting history, which reflects on its monuments, urbanistic aspect and public spaces. You can focus on history, art, architecture or everyday life.
This is a walking tour in an urban area. Traffic can be chaotic and parked cars can block the passage. During the warm season, you should carry with you a hat, sunscreen and water. Comfortable walking shoes are advised. The market area is particularly crowded, so special attention is advised to your personal belongings.
